The Foal Show Spectacular

The ABSS Foal Show Spectacular is traditionally held on the Sunday of the King’s Birthday long weekend at the Elmore Equestrian Park. Featuring over 200 classes and entry numbers that exceed 100 foals, this is Victoria’s most popular event for registered weanlings stepping out for their first season.

To satisfy your showing aspirations, we have paired this event with the ABSS Winter Youngstock Spectacular. Taking place on the Sunday and the Monday of the King’s Birthday weekend, this gives you 2 full days of showing with your foals. The dates for 2025 will be the 8th and 9th June. Our Foal Show program offers extensive opportunities for a wide range of breeds, from miniature ponies, right through to the heavy weights, the Clydesdales. Foals will have the chance to compete for their breed Supreme Champion, Ring Supreme Champion, overall Grand Champion of the Show, as well as a large range of open classes. Our generous sponsors ensure that there is always an amazing array of prizes available to win, including rugs, garlands, gift vouchers, and equine related products.

Elmore Equestrian Park

The massive indoor arena at Elmore Equestrian Park provides competitors and spectators with protection from the elements, a great surface, and the safety of an enclosed arena for those sometimes-fractious babes.

Park Stable Hire

The stables are of an excellent standard and provide a high level of safety to those staying overnight. Several wash bays and camping sites are also available for competitor’s use. Please make your stable and camping bookings directly with the facility.
